The Waikato District Economic development agency is interested in finding out more about the views of employers on the key issues and concerns surrounding employment practises and requirements of businesses and future training needs in the Waikato District.
The information gathered from this survey will be used to support labour market initiatives in the region and policies that will need to be in place if the area is to continue to grow and prosper. Some key labour market issues already identified for development are: housing, transportation, seasonal employment, aducation and skilled workers, and cultural and health related issues. All individual survey forms will be held in strictest confidence and will only be used by research staff from Waikato Enterprise Agency. When reported, only summarised information will be used so that no individual organisation can be identified from the reports and findings. Reports of the findings will be made publicly available for use by all interested parties, and briefings of results will be made available on line at www.waikatodistrict.co.nz. It is assumed that filling out the form implies consent. You have the right not to answer any question. Yours Sincerely, Kim Bredenbeck General Manager Waikato Enterprise Agency |
